A Comparative Study on the Emotional Expression of Calligraphy and Paintings Created by AI and Human Beings

在当代艺术与科技的交汇点上,AI书画以全新面貌亮相。然而,书画艺术的核心——情感表达,成为检验其价值的重要标准,并引发了对AI书画的深入探讨。本研究以人类书画情感传达的三个关键维度为标准,比较AI技术的实现路径,表明当前的AI仍处于“弱AI”阶段,仅在模拟人类情感表达的结果,本质上是人类书画情感表达的影子。进一步讲,AI介入书画艺术带来的挑战在于技术创新拓宽了人的认知边界。因此,基于新算法的书画艺术并非在创造新的事物,而是源自人类通过自身经验理解世界上本已存在的构形。

AI calligraphy and painting appears as contemporary art meets technology.Then,emotional expression,core of calligraphy and painting,has become an important criterion of value,and has triggered an in-depth discussion.This article takes the three key dimensions of emotional expression in calligraphy and paintings created by human beings as standards to compare how AI creates artworks.The comparison indicates that AI,currently still in a"weak"stage,is only simulating the results of human's emotional expression,and is thus a shadow of human beings.Specifically speaking,challenges brought by the involvement of AI in calligraphy and painting creation lie in that technological innovation has broadened human understanding.Therefore,calligraphy and painting based on new algorithms do not create new things,but are derived from the efforts of human beings to understand existing things through their own experience.
