The rapid development of gene editing technology has caused significant changes in the biomedicine field.While continuously making new progress and achievements,there are also multiple safety risks and ethical issues.Therefore,it is necessary to carry out responsible scientific research and application of gene editing under the principle of ethics first,including steering the"ethical rudder"to promote the development of technology and distinguishing different ethical concerns to escort the application of technology.It is also important to assess the balance between gene editing technology innovation and risk,evaluating the balance between technical risks and clinical benefits,action first and prevention first,reasonable application and technology abuse,to promote the healthy development and application of the gene editing technology.
