In order to improve the efficiency of sowing and seedling cultivation of Akebia trifoliate, the effects of different storage methods on seed germination rate were studied by three kinds of seed storage methods of normal temperature sand storage, natural air drying and refrigerator cold storage. The effects of different sowing methods on seed emergence rate and survival rate were studied by comparing the three sowing methods of broadcast sowing, spot sowing and drill sowing. The effects of different shading methods on seedling growth indexes were studied by comparative experiments on 40%and 60%shade level with full light treatment. The results indicated that normal temperature sand storage significantly improved the seed germination rate(90.64%),followed by refrigerator cold storage(52.39%),while the natural air drying treatment resulted in the lowest germination rate(21.63%).Regarding sowing methods, spot sowing yielded the highest emergence rate(94.47%)and survival rate(91.43%),while broadcast sowing performed the worst.Shading treatment significantly promoted the growth of seedlings, with 60%shading showing superior seedling height, ground diameter, leaf length, and leaf width compared to 40%shade level and full light treatment.Seedlings treated with 60%shade level had the highest average height, average ground diameter, average leaf length, and average leaf width, which were 35.15 cm,0.61 cm,8.29 cm and 3.33 cm,respectively.
