我国成人远程学生英语自主学习的自我相关因素探析

摘要 本文探析了影响我国成人远程学生英语自主学习的自我相关因素。研究以257名中国成人远程学生为研究对象,采用在线问卷的形式收集了他们在目标设定、环境构造、学习策略、时间管理、求助方式和自我评估等6个自我相关因素上的数据,并将获得的数据在性别、专业、在学时间和年龄等4个维度上进行了对比分析。研究显示:(1)女生的问卷得分总体上要高于男生,但差异并不显著;(2)不同专业的学生在量表得分上没有显著差异,但是理工类学生的总体得分要高于文管类学生;(3)在学1—2年的学生在环境构造这一因素上的得分显著高于在学时间不满1年的学生;(4)30岁及以下的学生和30岁以上的学生在环境构造和时间管理这两个因素上的得分有显著差异。 This paper investigates the self-related factors that influence autonomous English learning among adult distance learners in China.The study sampled 257 Chinese adult distance learners and instrumented online questionnaire to collect data on six self-related factors:goal setting,environment structuring,learning strategies,time management,help seeking,and self-evaluation.The collected data were then compared and analyzed in four dimensions:gender,major,duration of studies,and age.Findings indicate that:1)female students generally scored higher than male students on the questionnaire,although the difference was not significant;2)there were no significant differences in scores between students of different majors,but students of science and engineering majors tended to score higher than those of arts and management majors;3)students who had been studying for 1-2 years scored significantly higher on the factor of environment structuring than those who had been studying for less than a year;4)there were significant differences in scores on the factors of environment structuring and time management between students aged 30 and below and those above 30.
