Review on salpingitis in laying hens

蛋鸡输卵管炎是蛋鸡临床发病比较普遍的一种疾病,多发于产蛋高峰期,以出血性输卵管炎、产蛋异常为临床特征,亦常继发蛋鸡卵巢炎和腹膜炎,给养鸡业造成严重的经济损失。蛋鸡输卵管炎的致病原因复杂多样,除了生物性因素、物理性因素、化学性因素、营养性因素等外部致病因素,还有遗传性因素等内部致病因素。目前临床主要采用抗生素、生化制品、中药以及联合用药等来治疗蛋鸡输卵管炎。但对蛋鸡输卵管炎的相关研究大多局限于药物筛选、药效评价等基础层面,缺乏深层次的发病机制研究,难以满足新制剂研发的迫切需求。本文综述蛋鸡输卵管炎的致病因素和探讨近年来防治此病的临床应用研究情况,旨在为防治蛋鸡输卵管炎新兽药的研发提供参考。

Salpingitis in laying hens is a prevalently manifested disease in the clinical context of laying hens.It frequently emerges during the peak laying period of laying hens and is characterized by hemorrhagic salpingitis and abnormal egg production.It is also commonly secondary to ovary inflammation and peritonitis in laying hens,thereby incurring significant economic losses to the poultry industry.The etiological factors of salpingitis in laying hens are intricate and multifarious.They not only encompass external pathogenic factors such as biological factors,physical factors,chemical factors,and nutritional factors,but also incorporate internal pathogenic factors such as genetic factors.Currently,the principal clinical treatment measures employed for salpingitis in laying hens comprised antibiotics,biochemical products,traditional Chinese medicine,and combination therapy.Nevertheless,the majority of the related research on salpingitis in laying hens is confined to the fundamental levels such as drug screening and efficacy evaluation.Research on its profound pathogenesis is scarce,and it is challenging to satisfy the urgent demand for the development of new preparations.This article intended to offer a reference for the research and development of new veterinary drugs for the prevention and treatment of salpingitis in laying hens by reviewing the pathogenic factors of salpingitis in laying hens and deliberating on the clinical application research for the prevention and treatment of this disease in recent years.
