Under the influence of generative artificial intelligence technology, the situation and possibility of art have become a new topic in the current art research, which has triggered discussion on the future of human subjectivity. In contemporary art,AI art and bio art present completely different ontological compositions from the perspectives of technology and nature respectively, but both are intrinsically related to generation in the process of creation.Intelligent generation is based on artificial intelligence technologies such as generative adversarial networks and large-scale pre-training models, and biological generation relies on the natural growth process of living organisms. In the sense of art generation, the interaction and emotion of AI art deepen the consciousness of human subjectivity. The naturalness and growth of bio art guide human beings to liberate from the past rigid concept of themselves and examine themselves from a broader perspective. Both of them show the transformation of art from“production”to“generation”,which ultimately points to the exploration of human’s subjectivity in the future and the establishment of the symbiotic space between human, technology and nature. In this era of challenges and opportunities, the dual path of human-machine symbiosis and ecological symbiosis can provide a new understanding and construction scheme for the dynamic relationship between human activities and the world of human existence.
