技术创新抑制地区文化产业多元化发展的机制与后果研究

Research on the Mechanism and Consequences of Technological Innovation Inhibiting the Diversified Development of Regional Cultural Industries

文化发展需要百家争鸣,从产业角度而言表现为文化产业多元化,但是技术创新使得竞争力强的企业和产业获得较高的成长概率,对一个地区而言是否意味着产业多元化程度受到抑制?如果是,是否一定是坏事?针对上述问题,本文基于中国31省区市1997—2021年的面板数据,研究技术创新对文化产业多元化的影响和该影响给文化产业带来的变化。研究表明,技术创新对文化产业多元化存在抑制效应,且区域差异显著。从特征来看,政府产业支持力度越小、数字化水平越高,技术创新的抑制效应越强;技术创新“倒U形”影响文化产业多元化;技术创新对文化产业多元化发展的抑制程度随地区多元化程度增强而减弱。从后果来看,文化产业多元化的降低和集中化程度的提升有利于提高产业产出,但会造成产业发展模式过分依赖投资驱动。

Cultural development requires the collision of different ideas,which manifests itself in the diversification of cultural industries from an industrial perspective.But does the fact that technological innovation has led to a higher probability of growth for competitive companies and industries mean that industrial diversification is inhibited for a region?If so,is it necessarily a bad thing?To address these questions,the impact of technological innovation on cultural industry diversification and the changes that this impact brings to the cultural industry are examined based on panel data from 1997—2021 for 31 provinces in China.The study shows that there is an inhibitory effect of technological innovation on cultural industry diversification,and there are significant regional differences.The lower the government support for industry and the higher the level of digitization,the stronger the inhibitory effect of technological innovation.The“inverted U-shape”of technological innovation affects the diversification of cultural industries.The inhibitory effect of technological innovation on cultural industry diversification decreases as the degree of regional diversification increases.The reduction of cultural industry diversification and the increase of centralization are conducive to the improvement of industrial output,but may cause the industrial development to be overly investment-driven.
