摘要
传播信息能够产生经济价值,使用网络媒介能够促进个体收入的增加。本文基于中国综合社会调查数据,构建倾向得分匹配下的随机对照试验和工具变量模型,检验网络媒介使用对个体收入的影响,进而分析网络传播时代数字知沟的具体表现。研究发现,网络传播时代,受众分化特征明显,受众间存在着显著的收入缺口、教育缺口、年龄缺口和户籍缺口。实证模型的回归结果进一步表明,网络媒介使用对个体收入的提高具有显著的促进作用,收入溢出效应明显,且城市居民和高学历人群使用网络媒介对其收入增长的溢出效应更强,网络媒介使用扩大了各阶层和群体的社会经济差距,扩大了知沟。
Information dissemination generates economic value and using the medium can contribute to a increase in individual income.This article constructs RCTs under PSM model and IV model to examine the influence of Internet media usage on individual income based on the 2015 China Comprehensive Social Survey Project.Then the new characteristics of digital divide in the era of network communication is analyzed.The results showed that the differentiation characteristics of the network media audience was obvious in the network era,and there were significant income gap,education gap,age gap and household registration gap among them.The regression results of the empirical model further show that,network media usage has a significant influence on individual income.In addition,there is a higher spillover effect on income of urban residents and highly educated people.So network media usage has widened the socio-economic gap and knowledge gap.
