饶锷、饶宗颐对潮州乡邦文献的整理与研究——论《潮州艺文志》的编纂

《潮州艺文志》是饶锷、饶宗颐父子整理潮州乡邦文献的共同结晶,潮人著述藉此得以系统编目成书,它反映了潮州地方学术文化发展的状况。饶宗颐作为享誉海内外的学术大师,博通古今,融贯中西,在诸多领域造诣高深,以《潮州艺文志》为代表的乡邦文献整理研究为其学术生涯奠定了基础。他对乡邦文献研究涉及移民史、潮瓷、韩学、出土文物、地理沿革、地方志、古迹名胜等,门类繁多,推动了“潮学”的长足发展。从著录范围、编纂体例、书籍分类、辑录文献、撰写按语、文献价值等角度分析《潮州艺文志》的编纂,可以管窥其中蕴含的目录学与乾嘉学派的治学方法,探析饶锷、饶宗颐对潮州乡邦文献整理研究的贡献。

Chaozhou Art and Literature is the joint crystallization of the Chaozhou township literature compiled by Rao E and his son Rao Zongyi,and the Teochew people writings can be systematically cataloged into a book,which reflects the development of Chaozhou local academic culture.As a well-known academic master at home and abroad,Rao Zongyi has integrated China and the West,and attained profound achievements in many fields.The research on the collation of rural documents represented by Chaozhou Art and Literature has laid a solid foundation for his academic career.So far,his research on township documents covers the history of migration,Chao porcelain,Korean studies,excavated cultural relics,geographical evolution,local chronicles,historical sites and scenic spots,etc.,which has promoted the rapid development of“Chao Studies”.By analyzing the compilation of Chaozhou Art and Literature from the perspectives of bibliographic scope,compilation style,book classification,compilation of documents,writing language,and documentary value,we can get a glimpse of the bibliography and the academic methods of Qianjia school contained therein,and explore the contributions of Rao E and Rao Zongyi to the research of Chaozhou township literature.
