摘要
The El Nino-Southern Oscillation (ENSO) is the strongest interannual anomalies affecting weather and climate worldwide. As has been well recognized, ENSO originates from the coupling between the ocean and atmosphere in the tropical Pacific, characterized by a coherent evolution of subsurface temperature anomalies that profoundly impact sea surface temperature (SST) and surface wind fields.
