With the arrival of the new era,China's higher vocational education is facing unprecedented opportunities and challenges for development.As an important base for cultivating high-quality technical and skilled talents,the construction and cultivation of the student cadre team in vocational colleges are directly related to the school's management level,educational quality,and the comprehensive development of students.Based on the current situation of cultivating the abilities of student cadres in vocational colleges in the new era,this article analyzes the reasons for the insufficient abilities of student cadres in higher vocational colleges in the new era,explores the path of cultivating the abilities of student cadres in higher vocational colleges in the new era,and aims to provide scientific and systematic guidance for the training of student cadres in higher vocational colleges,thereby promoting the overall quality improvement of the student cadre team and promoting the healthy growth of students.
