The Evolution and Sublimation of China’s Pursuit of Common Prosperity

中华民族追求共同富裕的美好愿景自古有之,“天道均平”“大同社会”“以民为本”的中华民族传统文化为共同富裕思想奠定了深厚的历史根基。一代代中国共产党人在马克思主义与中华民族传统文化相结合的基础上,对实现全体人民共同富裕之路进行了不懈探索。在新民主主义革命和新中国建设时期,中国共产党对共同富裕思想进行了理论探寻和最初实践;改革开放后,以邓小平理论、“三个代表”重要思想、科学发展观为基础的中国特色社会主义理论进一步促进了共同富裕思想的扬弃发展。新时代以来,中国共产党以深入推进全体人民共同富裕为奋斗目标,以加速培育新质生产力推动高质量发展为根本着力点,以构建共享共富长效机制、新型产权制度等为制度基础,推动共同富裕思想的全面跃迁。

Common prosperity has been an everlasting vision of the Chinese people.The beliefs of“the way of heaven being equal”,“universal harmony”and“people-orientation”in the traditional Chinese culture have laid a deep historical foundation for the pursuit of common prosperity,and generations of Chinese Communists have been unfailingly exploring the path to common prosperity for all people based on Marxism combined with the traditional Chinese culture.During the period of the New Democratic Revolution and the beginning of New China,the Communist Party of China conducted theoretical exploration to and initial practice on common prosperity.In the reform and opening up,Deng Xiaoping Theory,the Theory of Three Represents and the Scientific Outlook on Development further promoted the development of the idea of common prosperity.Since the new era,the Communist Party of China has been accelerating the new quality productivity and high-quality development based on a long-term mechanism for common prosperity and a new property rights system,striving to realize the goal of common prosperity for all.
