Research on the role and function of filling materials in cavity-type disposal repositories for low and intermediate level radioactive waste

充填材料是低、中水平放射性废物岩洞处置库的重要工程屏障之一,明确其在处置库中的作用和功能是进行充填材料选择的前提和基础。本文通过调研国际上处置库所用充填材料,分析充填材料在处置库的作用和功能,提出了低、中水平放射性废物岩洞型处置库充填材料的选取原则。

Backfilling is one of the important engineering barriers in cavity-type disposal repositories for low and intermediate-level radioactive waste,and understanding its the role and function of filling materials is the premise and basis for its selection.This paper investigates the backfilling materials used in international disposal repositories,analyzes their functions and roles,and proposes their selection principles in cavity-type disposal repositories for low and intermediate-level radioactive waste.
