This article summarizes professor WANG Hua's academic thought on preventative treatment of acupuncture and moxibustion through sorting out his works,lectures and medical records.In clinical practice,professor WANG Hua believes that acupuncture and moxibustion has significant advantages in improving the health of the human body and preventing the occurrence and development of diseases.Professor WANG Hua is skilled in using acupoints with strong health benefits to stimulate and activate the body's own disease resistance,thereby preventing the occurrence of diseases or reducing their symptoms.In actual clinical practice,professor WANG Hua proposes acupoint acupuncture pretreatment for the first time,so as to mobilize and activate the body's self-regulation mechanism in advance,so as to achieve the goal of preventing small problems and preventing gradual ones.At the same time,he creates Shuanggu Yitong'acupuncture method,aiming at consolidating the foundation and strengthening the vitality,and dredging the meridians,qi and blood to regulate the functions of the organs.In addition,professor WANG Hua proposes the method of'Biaoben acupoint combination'in the aspect of acupoint compatibility theory,in order to maximize the effect of acupuncture and moxibustion treatment.
