金融发展与产业智能化对绿色经济发展的赋能机制

摘要 推动绿色经济发展,加快能源绿色转型是实现碳达峰、碳中和的重要途径。基于2009-2019年中国27个省市面板数据,运用固定效应回归、分地区回归和FGLS方法,从金融发展视角,对产业智能化赋能绿色经济发展的作用机制以及空间异质性进行实证研究。结果表明:金融发展水平、产业智能化以及二者的交互作用对绿色经济发展具有显著正向影响;金融发展水平、产业智能化以及二者交互作用对绿色经济发展的影响具有显著异质性,其中,金融发展水平和产业智能化对东部地区绿色经济发展有显著影响,而二者的交互作用主要影响中西部地区绿色经济发展。 In order to achieve the"carbon peak"by 2030 and"carbon neutrality"by 2060,the Chinese government has been endeavoring to promote the development of the green economy and accelerate the green transformation of energy.Thus,it is of great significance to study green development trends and influencing factors.To delve into this issue,this paper aims to examine the impact mechanism of industrial intelligence on the development of the green economy from the perspective of financial development,explore whether there is an interactive effect on the development of green economy between financial development and industrial intelligence and verify if there is spatial heterogeneity in the impact of financial development and industrial intelligence on the green economy.First of all,this study sorts out the research related to the green economy and summarizes the development trends and influencing factors of the green economy;then it analyzes the mechanism of industrial intelligence empowering green economic development from the perspective of financial development.Secondly,inspired by the existing research,the study constructs an indicator system and regression equations.The installed inventory of robots in this paper comes from the IFR database,and other data are sourced from the China Statistical Yearbook,China Economic Database(CEIC),China Energy Statistical Yearbook,China Industry Yearbook,and provincial statistical yearbooks.By using fixed effect regression,regional regression and FGLS methods,it further conducts an empirical study on the mechanism of industrial intelligence empowering green economic development from the perspective of financial development with the panel data of 27 provinces and cities in China from 2009 to 2019 and carries out the spatial heterogeneity test of the impact of financial development and industrial intelligence on the development of green economy.Finally,in order to ensure that the regression results are robust,exogenous,and have no missing variables,this study conducts robustness and endogeneity tests.The research results show that(1)financial development,industrial intelligence and their interaction have significantly reduced the level of carbon emissions;(2)demographic dividend,education level,scientific and technological innovation,and improvement of environmental regulations all have inhibitory effects on reducing carbon emissions;(3)there is regional heterogeneity in the impact of industrial intelligence,financial development and their interaction on the development of green economy in the eastern,central and western parts of China.For the eastern region,both financial development and industrial intelligence have a significant negative effect on carbon emissions,but their interaction has no significant effect on carbon emissions.In contrast,financial development and industrial intelligence in the central and western regions have no significant impact on carbon emissions,but their interaction has a significant negative effect on carbon emissions,which is conducive to the development of a green economy.Many factors simultaneously contribute to this result.The first is location differences.Due to their own location disadvantages,the central and western regions are less open,and financial policies are not biased.The imperfect financial market system leads to an increase in the level of financial development,which may increase carbon emissions per unit of GDP.The second is the difference in technology.The level of industrial intelligence in eastern China has been at the leading edge,while the central and western regions are still in the initial stage of green technology innovation.The results of green innovation are not significant,and the development of industrial intelligence in the short term can not significantly promote the development of green economy.In addition,the difference in technology makes foreign companies more willing to invest in high-tech green industries in the eastern region,while investing in labor-intensive and high-pollution industries in the central and western regions further expands the influence of technological factors.According to the research results,several suggestions are proposed.First,it is necessary to increase the penetration rate of industrial robots,increase policy support,and give full play to the role of financial development in low-carbon emission reduction.Then,it is essential to accelerate the development of clean energy and steadily adjust the energy structure.Third,the regional governments should implement differentiated policies for the eastern,central,and western regions to narrow the development gap.
