Xin Qiji’s lyrics are magnificent,and his prose is also imposing,especially Ten Suggestions of Meiqin and Jiuyi which embody his anti-Jin State strategies of resolutely opposing surrender and gradually mature measures.He suggested fighting for defense to boost morale for war preparation and defensing for fight to determine the scale for the long term.Xin Qiji discussed“qi”in wars,assessed situations,offered strategies,and wrote“strategies of tens of thousand of words for eradicating barbarians”.
