保彬是新中国这片热土上培养出来的教育家、艺术家,对教学、创作以及管理领域的更高追求贯穿了其一生。如今对保彬艺术作品的分析已成为中国近现代美术史研究的重要议题,对其图案思想、管理理念等方面的挖掘亦日渐起步。立足现实生产生活、活用“变换统一”、高于“自然”的“张弛有度”以及博古通今的教学理念是保彬图案思想的核心,这四点体现了保彬高超的艺术表现力与理解力、深耕图案的感染力、“物我相通”的自然感知力以及审时度势的判断力。保彬在传统缜密的图案发展脉络中探寻到了一种独特且具有分量的表达方式,如今对其图案思想的再回首无疑对图案史梳理、学科教学以及图案创作等方面具有现实的指导意义。
Bao Bin,an influential educator and artist from New China,dedicated his life to the pursuit of excellence in teaching,creation,and management.His artistic works have now become a pivotal focus in modern Chinese art history,with growing interest in his pattern philosophy and management principles.Central to Bao Bin's pattern philosophy are four key principles:a grounding in practical life and production,the skiliful application of"transformation and unity",a balanced approach that transcends nature through"tension and relaxation",and a teaching philosophy that harmoniously integrates ancient and modern wisdom.These principles illustrate Bao Bin's remarkable artistic expression and understanding,his significant influence on pattern design,his innate perception of nature,and his strategic foresight.Within the traditional and intricate development of patterns,Bao Bin discovered a unique and compelling form of expression.Revisiting his pattern philosophy today provides essential insights for the analysis of pattern history,the improvement of academic teaching,and the innovation of pattern design.
