By analyzing the limitations of urban road traffic design,this paper explores the basic principles of urban road traffic engineering design,such as the principle of giving priority to public interests,the principle of service classification and the principle of sustainable development,and comprehensively studies the technical points of urban road traffic engineering design,such as intelligent road traffic engineering design,urban road traffic hub design and green beautification design,so as to comprehensively improve the overall quality of traffic engineering and extend the service life of traffic engineering.
