Back in April 2021,Shanghai officially became the city with the most coffee shops in the world,surpassing major cities like London,Tokyo,and New York.According to a recent report by Yicai Global,the number of coffee shops in Shanghai is expected to exceed 10,000 this year.At the end of last year,Shanghai boasted 9,553 coffee shops,a remarkable increase of 1,023 from 2022.This surge coincides with the World Coffee Culture Festival that kicked off in Shanghai's jing'an district on May 9.
