中国新诗在海外英语世界传播研究的路径反思

Reflections on the Research Approaches of the Dissemination of Chinese New Poetry in the English-speaking World Overseas

中国新诗在海外英语世界的传播已有九十余年的历程,近年来,中国新诗在海外英语世界的传播研究整体逐渐呈现难以系统推进的趋势。中国新诗在海外英语世界传播的时间跨度长、空间范围广、体量大,给诗学传播的言说路径带来了挑战;诗歌属性等重要观点的论争、传播史料考证以及史料的现代阐释等问题,亦引发研究路径的反思。首先,本体与现象内外结合的研究路径,反映了诗学传播研究的内外划分理念,尽管这种研究路径对诗歌文体要素的开掘还不足,但其对中国新诗在英语世界的可译性、如何译等问题中的文体要素的关注具有良好的开端作用。其次,诗学论争与广义式实证的研究路径,体现了对中国新诗西方传播基础理论层面和实证研究的重视,但是也难免会局限研究的问题域,束缚诗学规律的探寻。再次,史料爬梳与散点分析的研究路径,显示了基础性研究路径的基石作用,但是这种在起点上的徘徊也不免会限制研究主体的研究视域及路径思索。接续三种研究路径,进一步挖掘诗学传播与数智人文以及其他学科的研究智慧和潜力,探索既有诗学意蕴又有创新性的多元路径,或许能够破解中国新诗在海外英语世界传播研究的困局,打开新的诗学研究空间。

The dissemination of Chinese new poetry in the English-speaking world overseas has a history of more than ninety years.In recent years,the overall research on the dissemination of Chinese new poetry in the English-speaking world overseas has gradually shown a trend of being difficult to advance systematically.The long-time span,wide spatial scope and large volume of the dissemination of Chinese new poetry in the English-speaking world overseas have brought challenges to the discourse path of poetic dissemination.The debate on important viewpoints such as the attributes of poetry,the textual research of dissemination historical materials and the modern interpretation of historical materials have also triggered reflections on the research approaches.First,the approach of combining ontology and phenomenon reflects the concept of internal and external division of poetic communication research.Although this approach is still insufficient in exploring the stylistic elements of poetry,its attention to the translatability of Chinese new poetry in the English world and how to translate the stylistic elements is a good starting point.Second,the approach of poetic debate and general empirical research reflects the importance attached to basic theories and empirical research of the Western communication of Chinese new poetry.However,it will inevitably limit the problem domain of research.Third,the approach of historical data review and scattered point analysis shows that the basic research paths are the cornerstone.However,the stagnation at the starting point will inevitably limit the research horizon of the research subject.Following these three research approaches,further exploring the research wisdom and potentials of poetic communication,digital humanities and other disciplines,and exploring multiple paths that are both poetic and innovative can solve the dilemma of the studies of dissemination of Chinese new poetry in the English-speaking world overseas and open up a new space for poetic research.
