湖北荆州熊家冢祔冢殉葬墓地2009年发掘简报

Brief Report of the 2009 Excavation of the Joint Sacrificial Tombs of Xiongjiazhong in Jingzhou of Hubei

2009年11月,荆州博物馆对熊家冢祔冢殉葬墓地进行第一次发掘,共发掘墓葬2座,编号为NPM1、NPM2,出土铜器、玉器、漆木器等遗物48件(套)。墓葬年代为战国早期后段至战国中期前段。两座墓葬的发掘为研究战国时期楚国殉葬制度提供了重要的实物资料。

In November 2009,the Jingzhou Museum conducted the first excavation of the joint sacrificial tombs of Xiongjiazhong,uncovering two tombs numbered NPM1 and NPM2.A total of 48 artifacts,including bronze,jade,and lacquered wooden items,were unearthed.The tombs date from the late stage of the early Warring States period to the early stage of the mid-Warring States period.The excavation of these tombs provides important materials for studying the sacrificial burial practices of the Chu State during the Warring States period.
