明代嘉靖初年,王阳明被起任为两广总督以处理思田之乱,举荐者为朝臣杨一清等人。明世宗虽对王阳明抱有疑虑,但最终同意起任。王阳明对于朝廷任命的反应较为复杂,经历了上奏辞任到愿意出任的转变。王阳明起任之事的背后,既有嘉靖君臣的综合考量,也有王阳明与嘉靖君臣的博弈,同时也是朝廷满足其部分政治诉求后的结果。

In the early years of the Jiajing era of Ming Dynasty,Wang Yangming was appointed as the Governor of Liangguang to quell Sitian Rebellion.His appointment was recommended by court officials such as Yang Yiqing.The Emperor did not trust Wang Yangming,but he ultimately agreed to the appointment.Wang’s reaction to his appointment was also relatively complex,experiencing a shift from initial declining to ultimately acceptance.This appointment event was influenced by a combination of considerations from both the Emperor and his court officials,as well as the interplay between them and Wang Yangming himself,and it was also a result of the court’s effort to satisfy his certain political demands.
