微磁学软件MuMax3与OOMMF及其应用

摘要 随着计算机科学技术的进步,微磁学作为磁学的一个重要分支近年来发展迅速.微磁学理论中的Landau-Lifshitz-Gilbert(L-L-G)方程能够有效分析磁矩的运动,但对于大多数较为复杂的自旋结构,研究者只能通过计算机软件进行数值模拟,如MuMax3和Object Oriented MicroMagnetic Framework(OOMMF)这2款最为常用的微磁学软件能够模拟出复杂的自旋结构.对比分析这2款软件,发现MuMax3和OOMMF的计算方法相同,都是利用有限差分法对材料进行离散化,但2款软件的运行环境、计算精度和计算速度存在较大的差异.MuMax3和OOMMF应用较为广泛,能够计算铁磁、反铁磁和亚铁磁等多种磁性材料的性质,可用于研究磁滞回线、温度效应和铁磁相变等多种物理机制.对MuMax3和OOMMF这2款微磁学模拟软件的介绍和对比发现,这2款软件各有优点,有利于科研人员系统地了解这2款软件,为科研人员在选择微磁学模拟软件时提供重要依据. With the development of computer science and technology,micromagnetism,as an important branch of magnetism,has developed rapidly in recent years.The Landau-Lifshitz-Gilbert(L-L-G)equation in the theory of micromagnetism can effectively analyze the motion of the magnetic moment,but for most of the more complex spin structures,researchers can only conduct numerical simulation through computer software.For example,MuMax3 and Object Oriented Micromagnetic Framework(OOMMF),the two most popular micromagnetic softwares,can simulate complex spin structures.This paper compares and analyzes the two softwares,and finds that the calculation method of MuMax3 and OOMMF is the same to discretize the material by using the finite difference method,but there are great differences in the operating environment,calculation accuracy and calculation speed of the two softwares.MuMax3 and OOMMF are widely used to calculate the properties of various magnetic materials such as ferromagnetic,antiferromagnetic and ferromagnetic,and can be used to study various physical mechanisms such as hysteresis loops,temperature effects and ferromagnetic phase transitions.This paper introduces and compares MuMax3 and OOMMF micromagnetic simulation softwares and finds that these two softwares have their own advantages,which is helpful for researchers to understand these two softwares systematically and provide important basis for researchers to choose micromagnetic simulation softwares.
