学生心目中的一流本科教育是什么——基于“手段-目标链”模型的分析

What is the First-Class Undergraduate Education in the Minds of Students-Analysis Based on“Means-End Chain”Model

摘要 研究采用“手段-目标链”模型,探究何为学生视域下的一流本科教育。通过软式阶梯法对40名本科生进行深度访谈,将所得信息进行阶梯归类与编码,绘制蕴含矩阵表与分层价值图。研究发现,学生心目中的一流本科教育应具有完善的教育模式、较高的教师素养、完备的生活保障、妥善的事务管理、丰富的交流平台、充分的就业指导六个基本属性。学生期待通过接受本科教育,提升专业知识、开拓视野见识、获取满意工作、培养终身发展能力等,最终获得综合能力提升、个人竞争力加强两类目的性价值与和谐校园体验过程性价值。一流本科教育的目的性价值体现在促进学生能力方面,过程性价值体现在提供和谐的校园体验方面。 This study adopts the“Means-End Chain”model to explore what constitutes first-class undergraduate education from the perspective of students.Through in-depth interviews with 40 undergraduate students using the soft ladder method,the study collects the students’perceptions of first-class undergraduate education.The obtained information is classified,coded,and visualized through a ladder matrix table and a hierarchical value map.The study found that in the minds of students,first-class undergraduate education should possess six fundamental attributes:a well-developed educational model,highly competent teachers,comprehensive living support,efficient administrative management,diverse communication platforms,and thorough career guidance.Students expect to enhance their professional knowledge,broaden their horizons,secure satisfactory employment,and develop lifelong skills through undergraduate education.Ultimately,they aim to improve their comprehensive abilities,enhance personal competitiveness,and experience a harmonious campus environment,which represent the instrumental value and process value of first-class undergraduate education.The instrumental value of first-class undergraduate education lies in promoting students’abilities,while the process value lies in providing a harmonious campus experience.
