摘要
过去五十年关于“可持续性”的话语,经历了从“增长的极限”到“可持续发展”再到“人类世”的变迁。相应地,可持续性的含义亦经历了从“经济的可持续性增长”经“社会的可持续性发展”到“人类的可持续性生存”的变化。“现代世”的生态病理,根源于一种“区隔性的逐富模式”:现代社会以“资本主义(阶级区隔)—民族国家”(公民身份区隔)双重区隔机制为基础,以通过人与自然的区隔而追求高品质(文明)生活为目标形成的无节制逐富,构成了人类世生态危机的主要力量机制。由天下共同体、兼爱天下、天人合一和节用简朴塑造的生态天下主义的世界观、价值观、生态观和生活观,可以形成一种可持续发展的新理念,引领中国人以介入性的姿态因应当下的生态危机。
In the past fifty years,the discourse on"sustainability"has transformed from the"limits of growth"to"sustainable development",and further evolved into the concept of the"Anthropocene".Correspondingly,the meaning of sustainability has shifted from"sustainable economic growth"to"sustainable social development",and ultimately to"sustainable human survival".The ecological pathology of the"Modernocene"originates from a model of wealth-chasing through distinctions:the unrestrained pursuit of wealth,driven by the separation of humanity from nature in the quest for a high-quality(civilized)life,based on a dual distinction mechanism of"capitalism(class distinction)-nation-states(citizenship distinction)",constitutes a major force behind the ecological crisis of the Anthropocene.The eco-Tianxiaist views on the world,values,ecology,and lifestyleshaped by the conceptions of an all-under-heaven community,universal love for the world,unity of heaven and humanity,and frugality and simplicity may form a new idea of sustainable development,leading the Chinese to transcend the ecological crisis with an engaged stance.
