This paper focuses on Chinese-American literature and its translation strategies.In particular,it is guided by the theory of relevance translation to analyze the translation strategy of the representative work of Chinese-American writer Tang Tingting,The Woman Warrior.As an important branch of American literature,Chinese-American literature,with its unique cultural background and emotional appeal,provides a unique perspective for understanding the collision of Chinese and American cultures.The theory of relevance translation emphasizes the relevance in the translation process,that is,the cognitive and comprehension connection between the original text and the translation,and between the translator and the reader.From the perspective of relevance translation theory,this paper explores the translation strategies of The Woman Warrior in detail in terms of vocabulary,sentence pattern,logical order and idiomatic expression.Through the application of relevance translation theory,this paper aims to provide new perspectives and methods for the translation of Chinese-American literature,and to promote the exchange and understanding of Chinese and Western cultures.At the same time,this paper also hopes to provide some reference and reference for the research and translation practice of Chinese American literature.
