Excellent traditional Chinese culture is one of the three important cultural sources for building socialist culture with Chinese characteristics.In the context of the new media era,the education of college students'identification with traditional Chinese culture has ushered in unprecedented opportunities,but also faces many new challenges.The collision of various ideological trends,the trend of widespread information dissemination,the singularity of traditional education methods,and the uneven development of information technology all together constitute the complex situation faced by the current education of excellent traditional Chinese cultural identity for college students.This article analyzes the new opportunities for cultivating excellent traditional Chinese cultural identity among college students under the background of new media,and proposes an improvement path for cultivating excellent traditional Chinese cultural identity among college students under the background of new media,aiming to lay a solid foundation for cultivating college students with profound cultural heritage and firm cultural confidence in the new era.
