摘要
为了提高高校大型仪器的使用率,切实发挥大型科研仪器对人才培养、科技创新、社会服务的支撑作用,该文探讨了质谱类仪器在高校中面临的资源分散且利用率低、种类多样难以统一规范管理、维护管理专业能力要求高等问题。根据学校科研发展和质谱仪器现状等情况,结合质谱分析的特点,提出因人制宜、因仪制宜、因境制宜的管理思路,以期为更多高校质谱类仪器的开放共享提供经验。
[Objective]Large-scale instruments are important hardware support for colleges and universities in their teaching and scientific research endeavors.They play a crucial role in improving students’practical skills and innovation capabilities,thereby ensuring the smooth development of academic and research activities.Among these instruments,quality spectrometers hold an important role,particularly in the qualitative and quantitative analyses of materials.It is imperative to optimize the use of large-scale instruments in colleges and universities to strengthen their role in talent training,scientific and technological innovation,and social services.[Methods]Taking the Mass Spectrometry Laboratory of Beijing Institute of Technology’s Large Instrument Sharing Open Platform as an example,this study conducts a detailed analysis of the major issues hindering the open sharing of mass spectrometers.These include the high limitation rate of instruments,resource wastage owing to scattered or idle mass spectrometry resources on campus,and a lack of integrated management.Furthermore,the increasingly diverse applications of mass spectrometry,varying sample conditions,analytical needs,different users’knowledge backgrounds,and the variety of mass spectrometry instruments and configurations create complexities in unified management and sharing.To address these issues,a diversified open sharing and operation management model for mass spectrometry instruments based on the“three factors of appropriateness”has been proposed.Based on the conditions of the“instrument,”the actual situation of mass spectrometry use is combined with the configuration and functional characteristics of various types of mass spectrometers.The use of different types of mass spectrometers is based on their functional advantages,operation,and maintenance needs,thereby maximizing the value of each instrument.According to the needs of“users,”the mass spectrometry laboratory offers multidimensional training tailored to actual needs.This includes basic principles training,advanced training in operation and analysis,daily troubleshooting training,and targeted,personalized application training according to the characteristics of specific subject groups or projects.Based on the effectiveness of the training and the frequency of user access,appointments for testing are arranged flexibly.Options include commissioned testing,semi-autonomous onboarding,and autonomous onboarding,depending on the situation of each instrument.According to the actual“circumstances”of available instrument and training needs,the overall planning and resource integration capability of the school platform is utilized to conduct scientific and integrated planning and management of existing mass spectrometry instruments.[Results]After years of practice and exploration,the service and management of mass spectrometry instruments on the university’s large-scale instrument open-sharing platform have begun to show results.Instrument operation has improved,and the efficiency of open sharing has gradually increased,forming a benign and sustainable development sharing mode characterized by“using the machine to support the machine.”[Conclusions]Universities should fully consider their unique circumstances when implementing the open sharing of instruments according to local conditions.By managing flexibly with the support of scientific and reasonable systems,they can maximize the innovative power of scientific research in the sharing service.
