This article explores the connotation and significance of equalization of public cultural services.Taking the Binhai New Area Library in Tianjin as an example,it explores the paths for district owned public libraries to promote equalization of public cultural services,that is,improve the mechanism of library branches,do a good job in providing free and open services,rely on car library'connects the last mile of reading services,carry out socialized cooperation,promote the construction of smart libraries,rely on modern logistics technology to improve the efficiency of literature dissemination.
