全国统一大市场是否有利于提升高技术产业出口技术复杂度?

Does a Unified National Market Contribute to Increasing Export Technological Complexity of High-tech Industries?

全国统一大市场是构建新发展格局的基础支撑和内在要求,高技术产业的发展是推动经济增长的重要引擎。文章基于2009-2021年中国31个省份的面板数据,通过构建双向固定效应模型与中介效应模型,实证检验全国统一大市场对高技术产业出口技术复杂度的影响。研究结果表明,全国统一大市场有助于提高高技术产业出口技术复杂度,但存在区域和行业异质性。全国统一大市场对出口技术复杂度的影响呈现东中西部递增的现象,高技术产业的五大行业中“医疗器械设备及仪表”“电子及通信设备”和“计算机及办公设备”行业出口技术复杂度受统一大市场的影响更大。机制检验发现,全国统一大市场通过促进高技术产业集聚助推该产业出口技术复杂度水平提高,该结果在考虑内生性问题和稳健性检验后依然成立。

The unified national market is the fundamental support and inherent requirement for the construction of new development pattern,and the development of the high-tech industries is an important engine to promote economic growth.This paper empirically examines the impact of a unified national market on the export technological complexity of high-tech industries by constructing a two-way fixed effects model and a mediating effects model.The panel data of 31 provinces,autonomous regions and municipalities of China from 2009 to 2021 is used for this purpose.The findings of the study indicate that the unified national market exerts a positive influence on the export technological complexity of high-tech industries.However,the impact of the unified national market on the export technological complexity varies across regions and industries.The impact of the unified national market on the export technological complexity is increasing in the eastern,central and western regions.Among the five major high-tech industries,the medical equipment and instruments,electronic and communication equipment and computer and office equipment industries are more affected by the unified market in terms of export technological complexity.The influence mechanism test reveals that the unified national market helps to increase the level of export technological complexity of high-tech industries by promoting the industrial agglomeration.This result remains consistent after considering the endogeneity problem and the robustness test.
