The rapid development of urbanization has put forward new requirements for urban architectural planning.Building engineering,as an indispensable part of urban planning,has a close relationship with the two.The urban planning scheme can provide guidance for architectural engineering design,and the effectiveness of architectural design can affect the overall environment of the city.Therefore,it is necessary to properly handle the relationship between the two.This paper aims to explore the interrelationship and synergistic effects between architectural engineering design and urban planning.By analyzing the relationship between the two in depth,we can understand how architectural design can achieve optimal results under the guidance of urban planning,and at the same time,urban planning should also consider the actual needs of architectural design.Firstly,the basic concepts of architectural engineering design and urban planning were outlined,followed by an analysis of the relationship and mutual influence between the two.Finally,relevant suggestions for achieving coordinated development between the two were proposed.
