The research progress of environmentally friendly plasticizers for the synthesis of diethylene glycol dibenzoate catalysts is discussed.The correlation between toluene sulfonic acid,heteropolyacids,solid superacids,acidic ionic liquids,titanium esters,alumina,stannous oxide,microwave radiation catalysts and catalytic reaction conditions,product yield,pollution degree,and product quality has enumerated.The research direction of diethylene glycol dibenzoate synthesis catalysts is proposed.
