It is of vital importance to look back at African American left-wing literature,rethink the significance of its literary heritage,and examine its achievements and influences in the 21st century.There is a natural internal coherence between African American literature and socially oriented left-wing literature.African American left-wing literature strives to align with Marxism,elevating racial consciousness to the level of class consciousness,and more centrally embodying the spiritual essence of left-wing literature.To a certain extent,the developmental history of African American literature is also a history of black political power struggle.A significant achievement of African American left-wing literature is the formation of a tradition of resistant,revolutionary literature within African American literature.This literary tradition not only becomes an important aesthetic feature of African American literature but also profoundly influences the overall appearance of American literature and the spiritual origins of many literary genres。
