摘要
以讲好中国故事为着力点,增进中华文化的国内传播,创新推进国际传播,加强对外文化交流和多层次文明对话,是新时代推动建设社会主义文化强国的必然要求。作为中华文化走出去的重要途径,对外出版肩负着讲好中国故事的重要使命。但因中西方文化的差异,在出版实践中,文化负载词的翻译成为对外出版的一大挑战。如何准确地翻译这些富含文化内涵的词汇,使之既能传递中华文化的精髓,又能被国际社会所接受,是摆在我们面前的重要课题。本文通过具体的例子,分析不同翻译策略在文化负载词翻译中的应用,以期为提高对外出版中的翻译质量提供有益的参考。
Focusing on telling China’s story well,increasing the domestic dissemination of Chinese culture,promoting international dissemination in an innovative way and strengthening foreign cultural exchanges and multi-level dialogue among civilizations are inevitable requirements for building a strong socialist culture in the new era.As an important way for Chinese culture to go out,foreign publishing plays a vital role.In the practice of publishing,due to the differences between Chinese and Western cultures,the translation of culture-loaded words has become a major challenge for foreign publishing.How to accurately translate these words with rich cultural connotations so that they can not only convey the essence of Chinese culture,but also be accepted by the international community is an important issue with which we are confronted.This paper analyzes the application of different translation strategies in the translation of culture-loaded words through concrete examples with a view to provide useful references for improving the translation quality in foreign publishing.
