跨境电商综试区能促进产业结构高级化吗?——基于长三角面板数据的实证研究

Does the construction of cross-border e-commerce comprehensive pilot zones promote the upgrading of industrial structure? ---Empirical Research Based on Panel Data of the Yangtze River Delta

为了探讨跨境电商综试区对产业结构的影响,文章利用长三角地区2011-2020年41个地级市面板数据,将跨境电商综试区作为政策冲击,运用多期双重差分法来检验综试区对产业结构高级化的影响。研究发现:第一,综试区的设立有效促进长三角地区的产业结构高级化,该结论在多种稳健性检验中依然成立。第二,相比于普通城市,副省级城市和直辖市的跨境电商综试区设立对于产业结构高级化有更为显著的促进作用;相较于后批次城市,前两批城市跨境电商综试区设立对产业结构高级化的促进作用更加明显。

In order to discuss the impact of cross-border e-commerce comprehensive pilot zones on industrial structure,the article uses panel data from 41 prefecture level cities in the Yangtze River Delta region from 2011 to 2020,and takes cross-border e-commerce comprehensive pilot zones as policy shocks.The multi-period double difference method is used to test the impact of comprehensive pilot zones on the upgrading of industrial structure.Research has found that:the establishment of comprehensive pilot zones effectively promotes the upgrading of industrial structure in the Yangtze River Delta region,and this conclusion is still valid in various robustness tests.Compared to ordinary cities,the establishment of cross-border e-commerce pilot zones in sub provincial cities and municipalities directly under the central government has a more significant promoting effect on the upgrading of industrial structure;Compared to the later batch of cities,the establishment of cross-border e-commerce pilot zones in the first two batches of cities has a more significant promoting effect on the upgrading of industrial structure.
