“一诺千金”出自西汉司马迁《史记·季布栾布列传》:“得黄金百,不如得季布一诺。”后以“一诺千金”形容说话极讲信用。秦朝末年,楚地的季布因信守承诺、乐于助人而广受赞誉。楚汉争霸时,他多次帮助项羽打败刘邦。刘邦称帝后,下令逮捕季布。在众人的帮助下,季布藏身于朱家。朱家恳求夏侯婴为季布说情,最终刘邦赦免季布并授予他官职。
