Beijing’s iconic Tian’anmen Square joined in the celebrations for the 75th birth anniversary of the People’s Republic of China with some spectacular flowerscapes.The huge flower basket on a red raised platform is inscribed“Blessing the Motherland”and overflows with flowers and fruits to symbolize the prosperity of the mature republic.There are dazzling displays in other parts of the capital as well.The Chang’an Avenue in downtown Beijing has themed flower beds,ideal for taking selfies or just to admire.
