摘要
图像传播与意象传播呈现为一种独特的共生传播形态与结构。在中华文明的意象传播实践中,意象往往以图像的视觉传播为主要形式载体来实现信息与意义的传播。在图像与意象协同发生作用的传播活动中,“图像—意象”的传播模式中呈现着从基础媒介共生到最终共生传播的共生形态。中华民族共同体意识作为抽象化的观念性对象,其具体叙事开展与传播实践必然是需要借助一定的媒介与文化符号来进行和完成,而“图像”与“意象”在此便发挥着重要作用。“图像—意象”作为民族精神气质的媒介符码与媒介场域,其在传播过程中所展现出来的想象空间与传播气质也召唤、促进着中华民族共同体意识的塑就与文化身份认同。在图像的视觉传播形式辅助下,意象所内含的意识形态机器也能很好地进入个体的意识机构,在勾连历史、重启记忆的过程中,受众可以感知到既往的文明发展轨迹所包含的一系列精神特质,进而涵养其自身的民族气质,唤起其共同体意识。
object,rely significantly on certain media and cultural symbols,where“image”and“imagery”play an important role.“Image-imagery”therefore serves as the media code and field for expressing national spiritual temperament,imagination space,and communication temperament displayed in communication styles that evoke and foster a sense of national community,thereby shaping community consciousness and cultural identity.What is more,the structure of imagery communication seems to allow different audiences to decode the narrative text and intangible essence encoded within the imagery itself based on their social,educational,and temperamental backgrounds.Academic investigation also reports that this decoding process functions as a process of“educating”the consciousness of a national community,embedding ideological constructs into individual consciousness through visual forms of communication.By connecting with history and reconstructing memory,an audience may perceive a series of mental characteristics already contained in past development trajectories of a particular civilization and then cultivate their own national temperament and awaken their sense of community.The formation mechanism of the consciousness of the Chinese national community shaped and molded through“image-imagery”communication unfolds across three levels:Memory retrieval,cognitive inquiry,and identity formation.First of all,the process of re-creation and re-examination of“image”by creative subjects and audiences across diverse temporal and spatial contexts can be considered in itself as a process of“extraction”of national memory.Secondly,in the process of“reading”and“continuing”the“imagery”text,the subject's emotional engagement apparently is called.Finally,the subject conceivably confirms a relationship between self and others,and between self and the nation,further activating and deepening shared historical memory and national-related emotional ties.In this way,a subject can realize their identification with a national community,solidifying community consciousness in practical terms and actualizing the development of a nation.Therefore,imagery communication undoubtedly provides innovative dimensions to image communication of Chinese civilization,offering new avenues for exploring national consciousness and national identity.
