The quality and safety of construction projects are directly related to people's production and life,and building materials are closely related to the quality of construction projects.Therefore,it is important to detect the quality of building materials.Based on this,this paper analyzes the detection methods and functions of building materials in construction engineering,expounds the specific content of building materials detection in construction engineering,and puts forward some optimization measures,in order to provide reference for related work.
