数字经济时代女性高管对企业绩效的影响研究

Research on the Impact of Female Executives on Enterprise Performance in the Era of Digital Economy

当今社会,女性高管在企业发展中的重要性日益突显,但其职业道路上仍存在众多阻碍因素。尽管学界关于女性高管如何影响企业绩效的研究尚无统一定论,但是随着数字经济的发展,这种新的经济形态为女性高管与企业绩效的关系探究带来了新的视角。基于此背景,本文以2015-2019年中国A股上市企业为研究样本,探究女性高管对企业绩效的影响,以及数字经济对二者关系的调节作用。研究结果显示,女性高管对企业绩效具有负向影响,但在数字经济背景下这种负向作用有所缓解。进一步分析表明,在非国有企业和内控效果更好的企业中,女性高管对企业绩效的负向影响更明显。这启示女性高管要充分把握数字技术的赋能效应,打破职业发展中的禁锢,有效提升企业绩效并推动企业高质量发展。

In today's society,the importance of female executives in enterprise development is becoming more and more prominent,but there are still many obstacles in their career path.Although the academic research on how female executives affect enterprise performance is inconclusive,with the development of the digital economy,this new economic form brings new perspectives to the exploration of the relationship between female executives and enterprise performance.Based on this background,this paper explores the impact of female executives on enterprise performance and the moderating effect of the digital economy on the relationship between the two,using a sample of Chinese A-share-listed companies from 2015-2019.The findings show that female executives have a negative impact on firm performance,and this negative effect is mitigated in the context of the digital economy.Further analysis shows that the negative effect of female executives on firm performance is more pronounced in non-state-owned firms and firms with better internal control.This suggests that female executives should fully grasp the empowering effect of digital technology,break the constraints in their career development,and effectively improve the performance and promote the high-quality development of enterprises.
