摘要
文章以2016年国家级大数据综合试验区的设立这一准自然实验作为数字经济代理变量,利用2008—2021年我国30个省份的面板数据,采用倾向得分匹配和双重差分法评估了数字经济发展对区域创新的影响。研究发现:数字经济能显著促进区域创新的发展,经过一系列稳健性检验后依然成立。作用机制分析结果表明,数字经济能通过提升研发投入水平和金融深化水平提升区域创新能力。异质性分析结果表明,数字经济对特大城市和东部地区的区域创新效应更加显著,同时高研发投入强度的地区也更加受益于政策的实施。
Taking the quasi-natural experiment of the establishment of the national big data comprehensive pilot zone in 2016 as the proxy variable of the digital economy,this paper uses the panel data of 30 provinces in China from 2008 to 2021 to evaluate the impact of digital economy development on regional innovation by using propensity score matching and differ⁃ence-in-difference method.The research finds that digital economy obviously promotes the development of regional innovation,and that this conclusion still holds after a series of robustness tests.The results of mechanism analysis show that digital economy can improve regional innovation capacity by increasing the level of R&D investment and financial deepening.The results of het⁃erogeneity analysis show that digital economy has a more significant effect on regional innovation in megacities and eastern re⁃gions,while regions with high R&D investment intensity also benefit more from the implementation of policies.
