摘要
电磁超表面是近年来电磁场与微波技术专业领域的研究热点,相关的理论知识作为教学内容逐渐被引入微波技术与天线教学。电磁超表面的工作原理较为复杂、抽象,对超表面的功能验证及实验测试需价格昂贵的测试仪器及微波暗室等条件。针对这些教学难点,介绍了高频结构仿真软件(HFSS)在电磁超表面实验教学中的应用与探索,以中心频率30 GHz反射式极化扭转超表面为实验教学案例,通过HFSS使学生掌握电磁超表面的设计方法以及对仿真结果的分析。可有效将电磁超表面的设计与实现过程具体化、实例化,提升微波技术与天线课程教学成效。
Electromagnetic metasurface is a hotspot in the field of electromagnetic field and microwave technology in recent years,the theory and concept of electromagnetic metasurface is gradually introduced into the university course of“Microwave Technology and Antenna Design”.The theory and concept of the electromagnetic metasurface are usually very complex.Meanwhile,the experimental verification of the electromagnetic metasurface usually needs expensive microwave measurement instruments and anechoic chambers.Aiming at these teaching difficulties,this paper presents the application and exploration of electromagnetic simulation software HFSS(High Frequency Structure Simulator)in electromagnetic metasurface experiment teaching in detail.Through taking the design of a 30 GHz polarization rotation reflective electromagnetic metasurface as an experimental case,the students could have a good grasp of the design method of electromagnetic metasurface and the analysis of simulation results.Compared with the theoretical teaching,the design and implementation process of electromagnetic metasurface can be concretized and instantiated effectively,which makes the teaching of“Microwave Technology and Antenna”more convincing and improves the teaching efficiency and professional level of the course.
