This paper outlines large language models(LLMs),describes current uses of LLMs in nursing,including clinical practice,nursing education,and nursing research,as well as analyzes related challenges.The aim is to raise awareness of LLMs among nursing professionals,to boost research and innovation around LLMs in nursing,and ultimately to further optimize patient care,to improve work efficiency and to advance nursing education.
