As an innovative visual effect technology,real-time image matting technology has been widely used in TV program production.This paper first analyzes the principle and limitations of traditional image matting technology,and focuses on the key technologies of real-time image matting technology.On this basis,this paper discusses the application practice of real-time image matting technology in typical TV program scenes such as virtual studio,sports event broadcast,variety show production and news report in detail.This paper analyzes how real-time image matting technology improves the efficiency,flexibility and visual presentation effect of program production,and shows its important value in improving program quality and innovating program form.
