摘要
在英语视听课程中,电影字幕的汉译对于学生的英语学习起到了至关重要的作用。合理的字幕汉译策略不仅可以帮助学生更好地理解电影内容,提升他们的英语听力水平,还可以增强他们对英语文化的认识和理解。因此,研究英语视听课程中电影字幕的汉译策略具有重要的实际意义。以电影《黑衣人Ⅲ》为例,阐述了电影字幕翻译的国内外研究现状,以及功能对等理论的概念、原则,及其与字幕翻译的关系,并从语言层面功能对等、文化层面功能对等、语用层面功能对等三方面提出英语视听课程中的英文电影字幕汉译策略。
E-C translation of film subtitles plays a crucial role in students'English learning in the English audio-visual class.Reasonable Chinese subtitle translation strategies can not only help students better understand the film content,improve their English listening level,but also enhance their knowledge and understanding of English culture.Therefore it is of great practical significance to study the Chinese translation strategies of film subtitles in English audio-visual class.Taking the film Man in Black III as an example,this paper expounds the current research status of film subtitle translation at home and abroad,as well as the concepts and principles of functional equivalence theory and its relationship with subtitle translation.It is also put forward some strategies for translating English film subtitles into Chinese from three aspects:linguistic functional equivalence,cultural functional equivalence and pragmatic functional equivalence.
