神圣与凡俗之间:跨文本视域下妙善故事宝卷的审美与情感

摘要 妙善故事宝卷是明清时期观音崇拜的经典,均以公主非凡的出身、崇高的品格与境界、艰难的成道过程等内容彰显出妙善故事非凡崇高的神圣色彩。但从早期的《香山宝卷》到在其基础上改编而成的《观音济度本愿真经》,再到靖江的《香山观世音宝卷》,妙善故事凡俗色彩的增加也历历可见,如佛教教义逐渐淡化、家庭关系日益复杂、世俗性考验愈发富有生活气息等,尤其是与孝道相联系的亲情因素展现出浓郁的世俗人情味。这种出入于圣俗之间的审美情感特质是宝卷的重要特色,既离不开时代因素的影响,亦体现出宝卷编者对民间大众审美心理的深入把握。 The Miaoshan Story Baojuan is a classic text of Guanyin worship from the Ming and Qing dynasties,highlighting the extraordinary and sacred nature of the Miaoshan story through the princess' s remarkable origins,noble character and realm,and arduous path to enlightenment.However,from the early" Xiangshan Baojuan" to the" Guanyin Jidu Benyuan Zhenjing," and further to the" Xiangshan Guanyin Baojuan" of Jingjiang,there is a noticeable increase in the secular elements of the Miaoshan story.These include the gradual dilution of Buddhist doctrines,increasingly complex family relationships,and more life-like secular trials,particularly the familial affection associated with filial piety,which exudes a rich sense of worldly human emotions.This aesthetic emotional quality,oscillating between the sacred and the secular,is a significant feature of the Baojuan.It not only reflects the influence of the times but also demonstrates the compilers' deep understanding of the aesthetic psychology of the general populace.
