摘要
人工智能(AI)是发展模拟、延伸和扩展人类智能的理论、方法、技术和应用系统的新研究领域,包括机器人技术、语言识别、图像识别、自然语言处理和专家系统的研究。随着科技的发展,大规模临床和多组学数据集的可用性推动,AI在肺部疾病研究中的应用备受关注。AI正在改变医疗实践,如机器学习在不同类型肺部疾病的早期诊断、预测呼吸衰竭等不良疾病结果以及开发更新的个性化治疗方面具有巨大潜力,也为更好地了解肺部感染提供了新的视角,可用于开发新的诊断和治疗策略。
Artificial Intelligence(AI)is a new field of research that develops theories,methods,techniques,and applied systems that simulate,extend,and expand human intelligence,including research in robotics,speech recognition,image recognition,natural language processing,and expert systems.With the advancement of technology,driven by the availability of large-scale clinical and multi-omics datasets,the application of AI in the study of lung diseases is in the spotlight.AI is about to change the practice of healthcare,such as machine learning which has a great potential for early diagnosis of different types of lung diseases,prediction of adverse disease outcomes such as respiratory failure,and the development of newer personalised therapies,with new perspectives for better understanding of lung infections,which can be be used to develop new diagnostic and therapeutic strategies.
