摘要
“学术妈妈”是指在研究型大学担任教职的女性学者,她们在履行教学与研究职责的同时,还承担抚养一个或多个孩子的母职。当大学越来越要求学者对工作全身心投入并尽可能多地进行学术生产时,“学术妈妈”面临的生育与个人学术生产力持续提升的矛盾使其在优绩主义评价体系主导的学术生态中步履维艰。“学术妈妈”要想获得更多的职业发展空间,不仅依赖充盈智慧和勇气的个人行动,更依赖强有力的制度支持和营造生育友好的文化氛围。
The“academic mothers”refer to female scholars who work in research-orien-ted universities,simultaneously fulfilling their teaching and research responsibilities while taking care for at least one child.As universities are increasingly dominated by the merito-cratic evaluation system,scholars need devote themselves to their work and produce as much academic output as possible.The contradiction between childbearing and continuously in-creasing personal academic productivity makes it difficult for“academic mothers”to thrive.In order to gain more opportunities for career development,“academic mothers”not only re-ly on their own wisdom and courage,but also depend on the strong institutional support and creating a fertility-friendly cultural environment.
