Triple Logical Dimensions of Critically Examining Platform Capitalism

批判性考察平台资本主义的本质必须从其历史崛起逻辑、现实运作逻辑、剥削本质逻辑出发:“数据拜物教”深入发展的历史情境下,技术与资本深度耦合,催生平台资本主义形成当代主导型商业模式;平台资本主义助推资本将多层面的社会存在纳入资本积累的扩展性秩序,形成资本重塑自身并强化剥削的最新样态;由于内在加速与垄断双重逻辑的复杂运演,平台资本主义“野蛮生长”,导致与人民群众密切相关的消费领域与劳动领域发生多元多维变革。发展数字经济是中国特色社会主义现代化的必经之路,也只有在中国特色社会主义条件下才能超越平台经济发展的资本主义辖制,建设对资本主义具有优势的社会主义平台经济。

To critically examine the nature of platform capitalism,we must start from the logic of its rise in history,the logic of its operation in reality,and the logic of its exploitative nature.In the historical context of the further development of“data fetishism”,the in-depth coupling of technology and capital has led to the emergence of platform capitalism as the dominant business model of the contemporary era.Platform capitalism has helped capital incorporate multi-level social existence into the expansive order of capital accumulation,forming the latest pattern of capital’s self-reinvention and the intensification of exploitation.Due to the complex operation of the dual logic of inherent acceleration and monopoly,platform capitalism has grown“savagely”,leading to diversified and multi-dimensional transformations in both the consumption and labor sectors,which are closely related to the masses.The development of digital economy is a necessary path for the modernization of socialism with Chinese characteristics.Only under the condition of socialism with Chinese characteristics can we transcend the capitalist constraints of platform economy development and build a socialist platform economy that has an advantage over capitalism.
