边鸡的保种历史、现状和未来

The Conservation History,Current Situation,and Future of Bian Chicken

20世纪80年代以后,养殖环境的变化,外来品种的进入、规模养殖的普及致使边鸡数量急剧下滑,曾濒临灭绝。该文概述了边鸡的产区情况,包括地理位置、气候条件、品种形成历史等,对比分析有书面记载以来边鸡的外貌特征和生产性能变化,介绍了边鸡保种的历史和现状,提出了未来发展目标,根据原产地乌兰察布的情况,并针对保种和利用中存在的问题提出了一些切实可行的建议和对策,以期为边鸡的种质资源保护与开发利用提供参考。

After the 1980s,the change of breeding environment,the entry of foreign breeds and the popularization of large-scale farming have led to a sharp decline in the number of Bian chickens.It was on the verge of extinction.This paper summarized the situation of Bian chicken production area,including geographical location,climate conditions,breed formation history,etc.,compared and analyzed the changes of appearance characteristics and production performance of Bian chicken since written records,introduced the history and current situation of Bian chicken breed preservation,and put forward future development goals.Some practical suggestions and countermeasures were put forward in view of the problems existing in the conservation and utilization of species,in order to provide reference for the protection,development and utilization of germplasm resources of Bian chicken.
